 On July 12, 2009, the West Chester Cycling Club will host a group of rides as part of the West Chester Twilight Criterium weekend. These rides or tours will be led by WCCC members and will include historical tours of West Chester and the surrounding area and will be of a length that riders can participate in more than one if they choose to. The tours will include: · Tours of the Parks and Alleys of West Chester · Historical Buildings West Chester · Historical areas outside of West Chester · "Three M" Small Town Tour (Marshallton, Mortonville, Modena) · Quaker Tour (West Chester Friends School, Westtown School, Tanguy Homestead) · Winery Tour (Stargazers Winery) · Hill Tour (Dick Sabo's Hill Hell) just to name a few. The rides will leave from Hoopes Park in West Chester. Food and beverage for the rides will supported from this Hoopes Park as well as bike maintenance and safety demonstrations.There are tours for all levels of riding ability. Registration for all rides will open at 11:00a.m. on Sunday, July 12th at Hoopes Park. |
